Once again, this is a story of striking while the iron is hot. I was returning from Manhattan via Uber and crossing to the West side as a passenger in an Uber. This allowed me to look around, rather than having to concentrate on the road and cars ahead which I am usually doing.
The long awaited Nordstrom building was finally open and as we drove by, I was able to capture the wonderful undulating facade out of the car window. I guess the store must have been celebrating the arrival of summer, all dressed in yellow. I thought it was part of the permanent decor but it apparently was only temporary.
I would have liked to have captured this with a larger camera, rather than my I-phone. What I ended up with is this nifty abstract of the facade, with parallel undulating stainless bands snaking across the page at an angle.
For any lovers of the color yellow, this image would make a great addition to your wall.
It can be printed on sizes up to 24”x30” and would look great on any of our mediums. Because it is bright, it would shine on an acrylic surface, a high gloss metal or printed on Fujiflex.
It is suitable for residential, commercial and corporate spaces.

- Or use a dampened, not soaked, 100% cotton cloth - like a T-shirt. Dampen with a mixture of dish washing soap and water.
- Never use an ammonia-based glass cleaner such as Windex. The ammonia will cloud the acrylic.
