Driving home from my Fall trip to Vermont and the Adirondacks, I scoped out some back roads from Troy to Chatham NY. I try to drive the roads less traveled if I am wandering around looking for interesting scenes no one has captured and shared previously. This particular barn was spotted near Chatham.
I was attracted by the simplicity of this wonderful display of simple and neat vernacular architecture, the American quintessential red barn. Reduced to its simplicity, this photo speaks of strong colored planes, juxtaposed one on top of the other.
This photography print would be a great addition to a second home, a den or a kitchen and is suitable for residential, commercial and corporate spaces.
It can be printed on any of our mediums but would look particularly good on acrylic because of the vibrant colors.It can be printed up to 30”x40”

- Use a special acrylic cleaner available at most hardware stores.
- Or use a dampened, not soaked, 100% cotton cloth - like a T-shirt. Dampen with a mixture of dish washing soap and water.
- Never use an ammonia-based glass cleaner such as Windex. The ammonia will cloud the acrylic.
