This is a silhouette of one of the Mesas viewable up close from the parking lot at the View hotel. It is not as well known as the Mittens or other landmark vista points in Monument Valley but was a very suitable backdrop to the start of this fantastic sunset, one of the best I have ever seen.
Most people wait around for the sunset and head immediately to their cars. I hung around the lot with a handful of other photographers, waiting for the best sunset colors to develop, only visible once the sun had actually dipped below the horizon, the start of the magical golden hour.
The skies did not disappoint. This portrait format is one of two fantastic blue hour silhouette shots taken that day. It can be printed up to size 30”x40” and would look best printed on acrylic or high gloss metal but can be printed on any of our other mediums.
It is suitable for residential, commercial and corporate spaces.

Cleaning

- Or use a dampened, not soaked, 100% cotton cloth - like a T-shirt. Dampen with a mixture of dish washing soap and water.
- Never use an ammonia-based glass cleaner such as Windex. The ammonia will cloud the acrylic.
